Self catering Cottage in Clare
Our self catering cottage in Clare is on the Wild Atlantic Way Near Spanish Point and Miltown Malbay. It is set in farmland about two kilometres from the Atlantic coast.

We completely gutted and rebuilt the house; new electrics, plumbing and heating
It was quite a lot of work for any couple but apart from the electrical work, we did everything ourselves
BEFORE pictured on 8th November 2017 – We had to clear the back yard and lower the ground level by about one foot
AFTER July 2019 The back old porch and the outside bathroom were replaced with a new utility etc
There are three bedrooms upstairs, two with double beds and one single.
Fitted carpet throughout upstairs and there is an upstairs toilet.
BEFORE pictured 15th October 2017 we removed the living room floor and excavated enough to put in insulation and a proper concrete floor
AFTER The same room in August 2019. warm comfortable with a lot of light from the big (new) windows

In 2017 Pepie and Nigel embarked on a project to renovate this old cottage near the village of Mullagh in West Clare. It is now finished and ready for guests.
